Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Osteen. I am a senior at MTSU and am currently in my final semester. I am majoring in Journalism with a concentration in Advertising and a minor in writing.
From the time I learned to read, I knew that I wanted to write. I decided I wanted to be an advertiser while watching a commercial during a Dallas Cowboys game. I don’t remember what the commercial was, but it caught my attention. From then on, I was fascinated with the creative side of an advertisement.
When I went to my first advertising class, I was so nervous, because I had no idea what to expect. All of my classmates knew more than me, and I felt so unprepared. But by the end of the semester, I was so excited for the future classes I would take.
I am so thankful that I am able to fulfill my internship with Navigation. They have given me an amazing learning environment, and they are always willing to answer questions that I have. I have been given the opportunity to write blog posts, web copy, and research.
Navigation has given me an amazing learning opportunity and helped better my understanding of what goes on behind the scenes of an agency. This internship has made me excited to begin my career professionally.
