Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Baltz, and I am from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Certificate in Editing and Publishing, maintaining a 3.76 GPA throughout my academic journey. While my educational background provided me with strong writing and communication skills, when I joined Navigation Advertising as a Content Development Contractor in March 2025, I didn’t come into this position with extensive knowledge about the worlds of advertising and digital marketing.
What I did bring was a passion for writing, a keen eye for detail, and an eagerness to learn. My previous experience as a Student Assistant at TN Tech’s Office of Strategic Initiatives had given me a taste of social media content creation, but working in a professional marketing agency has opened my eyes to an entirely new universe of possibilities and complexities that I never knew existed.
In my role at Navigation Advertising, I have the privilege of crafting comprehensive social media content and strategies for seven local business accounts across Instagram and Facebook platforms. I also write compelling blog posts and website content for multiple clients, adapting my writing style to match their distinct brand voices and target audiences. Additionally, I design custom graphics using Canva Visual Suite and coordinate multi-account content calendars—all skills that I’ve developed and refined since starting this position.
The learning curve has been steep but incredibly rewarding. Every day brings new challenges that push me to think creatively about how to engage audiences, drive brand awareness, and tell each client’s unique story in a way that resonates with their customers. I’ve discovered that successful digital marketing is so much more than just posting content; it’s about understanding audience psychology, staying current with platform algorithms, maintaining consistent brand messaging, and creating authentic connections between businesses and their communities.
What excites me most about this field is its dynamic nature. The digital marketing landscape is constantly evolving, with new trends, tools, and strategies emerging regularly. This environment of continuous learning and adaptation perfectly matches my natural curiosity and desire for growth. Through my work at Navigation Advertising, I’ve realized that this field is where I want to continue pursuing my career.

Working alongside experienced marketers and creative professionals has accelerated my learning and given me insights that simply can’t be gained in a classroom setting.
